Millennia Academy offer a range of class formats from MMA and grappling classes to kickboxing fitness classes and women's self protection.
Martial Arts and Fighting Systems that have influenced the development of our MMA program include Boxing, American Kenpo, Wrestling, ISR Matrix Physical Management, Floro Fighting Systems, Kickboxing, Military Close Quarter Fighting and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We also spend time investigating the psychological, behavioural and physiological aspects of violent confrontation.
Our MMA classes provide our members with training in a wide variety of areas, defence against edged and impact weapons, surviving multiple attackers, grappling and ground fighting, such as striking in all ranges, and using everyday items to defend yourself.
Our MMA curriculum has been developed from a variety of fighting systems and is delivered in two different class structures: 1) self-defence applications, and 2) sporting applications. (more).
